Long term savings
I purchased this for future use case and savings, rather than immediately loading in hundreds of URLs to monitor. Having said that, here is my review based on first impressions and after setting up a handful of monitors.
✅ Easy to use. I set up several monitors within a few minutes. The buttons and layout seem intuitive.
✅ A range of monitoring intervals and options, giving us some choice. These are currently 5 min, 10 min, 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, 2 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months.
✅ Cost savings. Tools like this are a high monthly or annual expense and locking in a lifetime deal will be something you won’t regret. Even if you don’t have a use case today, you may have a use case in 6 to 12 months. The higher AppSumo price per code is likely the reason why this deal does not have a higher number of reviews and questions, rather than it being a reflection of the deal or product. This is definitely a pricier deal for Sumolings. It will help to know that products like these have monthly server costs that are higher than other deals, and which competitors charge high monthly and annual fees. If you view the price per code in this context, and work out how much you will save over the months and years with this lifetime deal, then the price of each code will make more sense. If you purchase just 1 code for this, rather than 2 other lower quality deals you didn’t really need, then I am sure you will be happy.
✅ It works. I ran into one error, however this was likely related to the website I was trying to monitor, rather than Hexowatch, as there were no errors with my other monitors which saved and started without issue. If you experience any errors, you can either set up a different type of monitor, or talk to support. An error doesn’t mean a dead-end, due to there being multiple ways to set up a monitor (e.g.: visual, html, content, etc).
✅ For monitors set as ‘Visual monitoring’, you can download the screen capture from the monitoring logs.
One negative is I do not know how many codes to stack. This is one of those deals where I want to max stack and be covered in future, but it is an expensive deal from a Sumoling perspective. I recommend everyone to buy 1 code just so you don’t regret it later. 1 code is “150 pages checked daily or 75 pages checked every 12 hours” which will cover your online shopping and monitoring for sales to save some money.

I have only just started to experiment with the software but already this is one of the best tools I have used when it comes to monitoring, the options are unlimited, I have spotted a few areas for improvement which will hopefully be developed over the coming months but reading thought their roadmap most of them will be covered off over 2021.
